Basic Care and Communication Skills, Part 1 -8th Dec, 10.30-3.30pm
Spiritual perspectives for care; Serving meals; Walking with a person;
Assisting a person to/from sitting position; Bed making and bed protections
Assisting a person to wash and groom themselves

Basic Care and Communication Skills, Part 2 - 9th Dec, 10.30-3.30pm
Reading aloud; Use of wheelchairs;
Looking after the nursing care environment; Communication skills

Moving, Handling Mobility - 10th Dec, 10.30-3.30pm
Discovering a spiritual sense of mobility and movement; Assisting a person to move
from a to b, with and without equipment; Correct use of mobility aids

Bed-side Care, Part 1 - 11th Dec, 10.30-3.30pm
Spiritual perspectives for care;  Bed baths;
Bed pans and managing belief of incontinence; Occupied bed making, protections

Bed-side Care, Part 2 - 12th Dec, 10.30-3.30pm
Feeding; Assisting a person to move in bed; Positioning a person in bed, comfort items;
In/out of bed; Ideas on how to deal with false beliefs of
prolonged bed care from a Christianly scientific basis

Care of Wounds - 15th Dec, 10.30-3.30pm
Exploring ways to cleanse, cover and bandage wounds;
Ideas for a sound metaphysical approach to this subject

Modifying Food  - 16th Dec, 10.30 - 3.30pm
Changing the consistency of food items to meet the individual need;
Preparing attractive and balanced meals for the sick-room;
Ideas to challenge food beliefs

These courses are suitable for those who wish to do
Christian Science nursing in private homes.

We charge a fee for attending a workshop or seminar, between £60.00 &£100.00. 

We can help you find funding to cover the cost.
